About me
Hi, I'm Max and first of all: there's hardly anything more difficult for me than introducing myself and explaining what I do. Usually you always read the same thing in such texts:
Hi, I'm Max! I describe my work as adventure photography. As a photographer, cameraman and 3D artist, I capture the breathtaking moments of nature. My degree in media technology at the TH Cologne gives me the necessary know-how to bring my visions to life. I am passionate about documenting our planet in all its facets. With my pictures, I want to show the beauty of our planet and raise awareness for its protection. When I'm not photographing, I'm out hiking, climbing or kitesurfing. These adventures inspire me and offer endless opportunities to capture nature in all its splendor. Discover the world through my lens and let yourself be carried away by the beauty and stories of my adventure photography!
Boring, impersonal and simply not how I am or see myself! Of course it's true that my name is Max and that I do a lot with cameras. And yes, I'm studying media technology. But you can find all that out with a three-minute search on LinkedIn. No one has ever gotten a job just because they had the right hobby. What remains is my motivation - why Am I doing what I'm doing?
The answer I prefer to give is a simple "Why not!" followed by a roll of the eyes and an urgent desire to end this conversation as quickly as possible. Because I simply don't have the right words to describe my motivation. There was no incisive experience or transcendent revelation.
